TimeSnap Apps Privacy Policy

TimeSnap does not have servers. We do not collect, receive, transmit to ourselves, or sell any of your personal information. Everything you record stays on your device, or your own Google Drive when you choose to back up the data.

This policy explains what TimeSnap ("the app") stores, where it goes and how to remove it.

1. About the developer

TimeSnap is developed and published by MN Momently Studio. For any privacy question or request, please contact mnmomentlystudio@outlook.com.

2. What the app stores on your device

All of the following is written to a private database inside the app's own storage area on your phone. It is not readable by other apps, and it is never sent to us.

Data	Purpose
Activity names and colours you create	To label and display what you are tracking.
Time entries: start time, end time and duration	The core record of how you spent your time.
Goals: target minutes, period, and which activity they apply to	To show progress against the goals you set.
App settings: time thresholds, notification and sync preferences	To keep the app behaving the way you configured it.
Your Pro entitlement status	To unlock paid features without re-checking Google Play on every launch.

Activity name entries are free text. Please avoid typing information you would not want stored on your device or copied into your Google Drive backups.

3. Google account and Google Drive

Connecting Google Drive is optional. Your data is stored locally on your device unless you connect your Google Drive account and a backup runs.

If you do connect Drive:

Your Google account email address and display name are stored on your device so the app can show you which account is connected. They are not transmitted to us.
An access token issued by Google is held in memory while the app is running so it can upload backups. It is not saved to your device and is not transmitted to us.
The app requests only the drive.file permission. It is deliberately narrow: it lets TimeSnap see and manage only the files it creates itself. TimeSnap cannot read, list, or access any other document, photo, or file in your Google Drive.
Backups are written as CSV files into a TimeSnap folder in your own Google Drive. They contain your activity names, time entries, and goals. This is your storage, under your Google account. We have no access to it at any point.

Once data is in your Google Drive it is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Purchases

TimeSnap Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Google Play Billing. The app receives only a confirmation that a purchase exists and is valid. It never sees, handles, or stores your name, card number, billing address, or any other payment detail. Refunds and billing queries are handled by Google Play.

5. Permissions the app requests

Permission	Purpose
`INTERNET`	Only to upload backups to your Google Drive and to talk to Google Play Billing.
`ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`	To avoid attempting a sync when you are offline.
`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	To send the tracking reminders you enable in settings. You can decline or revoke this at any time.
`BILLING`	Required by Google Play to offer the Pro purchase.

TimeSnap does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, call logs, SMS, or the files on your device.

6. What we do not do

We do not operate any server that receives your data.
We do not use analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting services.
We do not include advertising networks or advertising identifiers.
We do not track you across apps or websites.
We do not build profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone.

7. How to delete your data

We never receive your data. You can delete everything yourself immediately using the steps below. Because we hold no copy, we cannot carry out the deletion on your behalf, but we will help you complete it if you ask.

Delete individual records. Open TimeSnap and remove any time entry, activity, or goal directly in the app.
Delete everything stored on your device. Either uninstall TimeSnap, or go to Android Settings → Apps → TimeSnap → Storage → Clear data. Both permanently erase the app's entire database, your settings, and the connected Google account details.
Delete your Google Drive backups. Open Google Drive, find the TimeSnap folder, and delete it. Then open Drive's Trash and choose Empty trash to remove the files permanently.
Revoke TimeSnap's access to your Google account. Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, select TimeSnap, and choose Remove access. This immediately revokes TimeSnap's access to your Drive.

What is kept, and for how long

MN Momently Studio doesn't retain data. We operate no servers and hold no copy of your information at any point.

Two things outside our control are worth knowing about:

Google Drive trash, up to 30 days. Files you delete from Drive sit in your Trash and are removed automatically after about 30 days. Emptying the Trash yourself (step 3) deletes them immediately.
Google Play purchase records. If you bought TimeSnap Pro, Google Play keeps a record of that transaction under its own retention policy, for refunds, billing, and tax purposes. That record belongs to Google and it contains no time-tracking data. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Deleting your data does not cancel or refund a purchase. Refunds are handled by Google Play.

8. Children

TimeSnap is a general-audience productivity tool. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect information at all.

9. Security

Your records are held in the app's private storage area, which Android isolates from other applications. Data in transit to Google Drive is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but because your information never reaches a server of ours, there is no central database of TimeSnap users that could be breached.

10. Your rights

Privacy laws including the Australian Privacy Principles, the GDPR, and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, and delete your personal information. In TimeSnap you can exercise all of these directly: your data is on your device, you can view and edit it in the app, save a complete copy of it using Local Backup & Restore, and delete it as described in section 7. Local Backup is available on both the free and Pro plans. CSV export is a separate Pro convenience feature. We hold no copy of your data.

11. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
